Senior Product Manager

About the job:

About us:

Airtm financially empowers citizens in countries with broken economies. We believe it is not fair for people to lose their hard-earned money to inflation, to be disconnected from the global economy, or to lose 90% of their value when receiving a remittance.

Airtm’s globally accessible dollar account allows anyone to hold their wealth in a stable currency, participate in the global economy and cash out remittances at fair exchange rates.

The role:

As Senior Product Manager you will help us define, build and execute our product roadmap as we construct the best services and experiences for millions of users. Specifically focused on on and off ramps, you are responsible for optimizing, determining, building and releasing new peer-to-peer and direct connections linking Airtm with new payment methods and fund flows around the world.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

-Define the new features/products for Airtm’s peer-to-peer marketplace and direct connections, including internal support tools and interacting with 3rd party service APIs.

-Deliver crisp product requirement documents that are easily understood by technical and non-technical team members.

-Use data to make good decisions when confronted by ambiguity.

-Drive product development by working daily with design and engineering teams through all phases of product development: ideation, design, development, and product rollout.

-Engage with product marketing, growth, and customer success teams to develop launch strategy, product communications and training.

Qualification, Skills, and Competencies:

-BS/BA or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years as a Product Manager and/or Software Engineer.

-You have shown increasing levels of responsibility in fast-paced, agile development environments.

-No ego when it comes to engineering, product or design; the focus is always on getting quickly to the right answer and doing what is right for the customer and the company.

-Excellent decision-making skills with a knack for identifying, prioritizing, and articulating the highest impact initiatives.

-Able to meet deliverables and drive your work to completion within specified timelines.

-Fluent in English, written and verbal communications.

-Able to present ideas and solutions to many audiences including senior management.

-Can work cross functionally in many areas without being constrained by your job function.

-Collaborative, upbeat work ethic where you can take ownership.

Compensation: Salary is competitive and negotiable with the opportunity to earn an attractive bonus in equity based on your results and performance.
