Senior Account Executive

WHAT YOUโ€™LL DO

We are seeking an energetic and highly-motivated Senior Account Executive. Your primary role is to collaborate with prospective accounts in different industries to discuss how they can maximize their business by using TextUs.

As a TextUs Senior Account Executive, you will exceed monthly quotas by working both inbound opportunities and proactively prospecting new accounts to generate additional pipeline. Through a consultative sales approach, you will collaborate with C-levels, VPs and Directors to help them solve their business problems.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day to Day:
    • You are the primary point of contact for customers as they move through the buying journey: prospect, discovery, demo, quote, pilot, negotiation, and close.
    • You manage the introduction and partner with your Account Manager to onboard and train the customer on how to best use TextUs so that they realize high response rates and a positive ROI.
    • You are excited about the TextUs product and are always up to date on our newest product releases
    • You research our competitors to ensure you aware of their offerings and how TextUs compares
  • Strategy:
    • Youโ€™re familiar with and have used the MEDDICC methodology and process, while continually seeking to develop expertise in these areas.
    • You accurately forecast your monthly business in salesforce based on commit, best case and pipeline.
    • Generate opportunities by managing inbound leads and conducting targeted outbound vertical prospecting campaigns.
    • Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews with Account Managers to assist in growing product utilization / customer satisfaction to create upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Organization and Accountability:
    • You are organized with the management of multiple opportunities, follow up and your pipeline to ensure your monthly quota is met.
    • Disciplined execution of prospecting and sales processes, including entering information and data in Salesforce, so that pipeline generation goals are met, forecast accuracy is high, and quota is regularly attained.
  • Relationship building:
    • Strong social selling skills with LinkedIn that enable you to build relationships with potential customers.
    • Effectively build and maintain relationships with prospects and customers through active listening and understanding customer needs.
    • You propose solutions to customer challenges by story telling vs. showing features and articulating the value of TextUs for their business
    • You effectively handle objections through data based / best use case rationale
    • Proactively provides customer feedback to the Product team on the current customer experience and provides enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience as a top performer in new business development for B2B SaaS businesses.
  • Understanding of Salesforce.com, Outreach, Zoominfo, LinkedIn, Google Apps and other key sales technologies used for Business Development, Opportunity creation and activity tracking
    • Strong organization, prioritization and time management skills needed
  • You have consistently closed SMB, MM and ENT opportunities in the past.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-accountability, high-teamwork environment.
  • Comfortable conducting your own product demonstrations by telling the story of how TextUs solves business problems vs. a feature or training demonstration.
  • Exceptional sales acumen lead customers through the buying process, effective sales meetings, and contract negotiations.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills at all levels of an organization to ensure customers have world class experience
  • Proven ability to command SaaS-based CRM and digital communications technology and apply that knowledge in a consultative / solution sales approach with customers.
  • Exceptional communication skills: listening, asking questions, and written / verbal articulation.
  • Previous experience selling SaaS into Staffing & Recruiting, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, Higher Ed, Entertainment Industry, Professional Sports Teams, and Transportation verticals is a plus.
