Kyivstar.Tech is looking for a Product Designer. You will contribute to creating Kyivstar’s innovative new products in this role. What you will do
- Conduct research to understand user needs, preferences, and pain points, informing the design process
- Analyze customer journey maps to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing the user experience
- Partner with the Product Management team to align design activities with overall product goals and user needs
- Participate in key internal meetings, including weekly/daily status updates and planning sessions, to ensure alignment on problem definitions
- Collaborate with the Development and Product Management teams to brainstorm innovative solutions that align with product direction and user experience
- Develop wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to articulate possible design solutions
- Craft prototypes to validate and visualize new product concepts
- Lead data-driven usability tests to assess prototype effectiveness and gather insights for refinement
- Execute all stages of the visual design process, from concept to the final hand-off to the engineering team
- Establish and advocate for design guidelines, best practices, and standards within the organization
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess design effectiveness and user satisfaction
- Utilize analytics and other data to maintain an evidence-based approach to ongoing design refinements
Qualifications and experience needed
- A minimum of 2 years in a UX/UI design role or related capacity
- Demonstrated expertise in employing Service Design or Human-Centered Design methodologies
- A compelling portfolio featuring a variety of web and mobile projects
- Proficiency in design software such as Figma or Sketch
- Experience with dynamic and low-fidelity prototyping tools, including but not limited to Figma and Framer. Familiarity with paper prototyping is also desirable
- A foundational understanding of Customer Development is considered a significant advantage
- Prior experience working within an Agile or Scrum development framework
- English proficiency at an Intermediate level or above
- Fluent written&spoken Ukrainian
