Demand Generation Specialist (Marketing Operations Focus)
About the job:
Kinsta is one of the top-managed WordPress hosting companies, with a growing club of 120,000+ businesses including startups, universities and Fortune 500 firms. We're motivated by excellent quality, and proud to have received a 97% satisfaction rating from our customers.
That's because, to us, each day is a chance to grow. As a team, we continuously inspire each other to learn new and better ways to make an impact. We own our jobs proudly - our leaders don't hold our hands, but they're in our corner whenever we ask for help - and our environment is flexible and remote-first.
We’re looking for a Demand Generation Specialist with a marketing operations focus to turn data, automation, and process excellence into pipeline growth. In this role, you’ll make Kinsta’s demand generation programs more predictable, measurable, and scalable, helping bridge the gap between marketing activity and revenue impact. Working closely with the Events, RevOps, and Sales teams, you’ll support event campaigns, build email and intent programs, and turn marketing activity into meaningful sales conversations.
This role is ideal for a marketer who's confident working independently but comfortable learning and collaborating across teams:
What You'll Do:
- Build and optimize intent programs:
- Identify and test new buying signals that help trigger timely, relevant sales conversations.
- Work with RevOps and Sales to put these signals into action and increase conversion rates to generate more sales-qualified leads.
- Review how qualified leads move through the funnel and partner with RevOps and Sales to identify ways to improve conversion and pipeline outcomes.
- Document and share learnings from intent signal tests to help improve targeting, messaging and sales processes.
- Launch scalable email programs:
- Develop and launch new email programs that drive sales conversations and pipeline opportunities.
- Ensure the marketing database stays accurate and usable by managing contacts, monitoring data quality, and keeping target lists clean for effective targeting.
- Find opportunities within the database by experimenting with segmentation and using available content to deliver value to targeted segments.
- Share learnings from email program results with the Sales and Content teams to improve messaging, targeting and content quality.
- Support event campaign operations:
- Plan and coordinate pre-, during-, and post-event campaigns in close collaboration with the Events and Sales teams.
- Support the integration of product and content campaigns into the overall event roadmap.
- Build simple, repeatable processes that make event campaigns more automated and impactful.
- Test and explore new channels:
- Test and pilot new marketing channels that could drive qualified leads and revenue.
- Experiment with tools and automations that make campaign operations more efficient and scalable.
- Track and share learnings from tests to identify what works, what doesn’t, and how to improve future campaigns.
What You'll Bring to the Role:
- 3+ years of experience in demand generation, growth marketing, or marketing operations, with a focus on driving B2B pipeline.
- Strong HubSpot expertise, including experience in email marketing, list management, workflows, and integrations.
Bonus points if you have:
- Hands-on experience supporting sales-driven event campaigns end-to-end using HubSpot.
- Proven ability to collaborate closely with Sales and RevOps, with a solid understanding of B2B sales processes.
- Experience working with intent data and familiarity with data enrichment tools like Clay or similar GTM engineering platforms.
- Strong understanding of data hygiene and segmentation, with practical skills in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and similar functions).
- Detail-oriented and proactive approach to managing multiple projects from strategy to execution.
Our Benefits:
- Annual remote expense budget.
- Flexible PTO.
- Paid parental leave.
- Annual professional development budget: available after one year with Kinsta.
- Sabbatical: available after three years with Kinsta (and every three years thereafter).
- Location-specific healthcare benefits (including vision and dental) for employees hired in the USA, UK, and Hungary.
- Pension plan for employees hired in the UK, and 401k contributions for employees hired in the USA
