Health Planning Assistant
About the job:
Everbridge is seeking a motivated and analytically minded Health Planning Assistant to join our Health Planning Department. This fully remote role supports the delivery and continued development of health planning and health intelligence products for a global corporate client base.
Working closely with Medical, Assistance, Network, and Sales teams, the Health Planning Assistant plays a key role in delivering high-quality health planning documentation, producing health intelligence outputs, and providing analytical insight that supports client solutions and business growth. The role combines structured research, data analysis, and high-quality written outputs, and is well suited to an individual who is detail-focused, adaptable, and keen to develop within a growing function.
What you'll do:
- Support the delivery of health planning projects, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, and aligned to client requirements.
- Research, write, edit and maintain health planning documentation, including Medical Emergency Response Plans (MERPs).
- Collect, analyse and interpret internal and client-related data to support health planning delivery and inform client-specific solutions.
- Present insights and findings in clear, structured formats to support internal decision-making and sales activity.
- Research and produce health intelligence reports covering infectious diseases, outbreaks, and emerging health risks, tailored to client locations and operational contexts.
- Act as a point of responsibility for the accuracy and dissemination of health intelligence outputs within the business.
- Support the maintenance and organisation of a growing health planning document repository.
- Support the Network team in researching and maintaining information on healthcare providers and partner relationships.
- Support Sales and Commercial teams by contributing to health planning presentations and client-facing materials.
- Monitor and respond to multiple internal and external communication channels.
- Contribute ideas and practical solutions to improve efficiency and support continuous improvement within the Health Planning function.
- Act as a point of contact for Health Planning activities during periods of absence within the team.
What you'll bring:
- Strong written communication skills, with experience in document writing, editing, or proofreading.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce structured, high-quality outputs.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret information and present findings clearly.
- High level of IT literacy, including confidence using Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to learn new systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with an interest in improving processes and outputs.
Preferred:
- Experience within medical assistance, healthcare, global health, emergency management, or a related field.
- Understanding of healthcare systems, medical infrastructure, or health risk environments.
- Experience producing analytical or health-related reports.
- Qualifications or training related to IT, data analysis, document management, or communications.
