About the project

As a Finance Transformation Automation Associate, you will drive the automation of financial and operational reconciliations, integrating data sources from banks and processors (APIs, SFTP, email), standardizing controls, and systematizing variance analysis to accelerate closes and reduce rework.

How your day-to-day work will look like:

✅ Map processes and implement automation solutions to eliminate manual effortand optimize operational efficiency. 
✅ Integrate and maintain data sources from banks/processors via APIs, SFTP, andemail workflows, ensuring data quality, completeness, and traceability. 
✅ Analyze variances and differences across banks, processors, and internal records;conduct root-cause analysis and propose remediations and automations. 
✅ Design and implement dashboards, automate reporting, and develop analyticalmodels (pivot tables, lookups, Power Query/Power Pivot, or equivalent) to monitorKPIs and track variances. 
✅ Manage tickets and workflows in Jira for new reconciliations, rule/sweep changes,file uploads/removals, following strong documentation practices.
✅ Collaborate with Business Assurance, Operations, Treasury, Accounting, Product,and Data to resolve incidents, capture requirements, and coordinate UAT for newintegrations.
✅ Standardize SOPs, strengthen controls, and scale end-to-end automations toreduce manual work and rework.
✅ Support multiple projects simultaneously in an agile context: gatheringrequirements, coordinating with stakeholders, performing UAT, and managingchange.

This would make you the ideal candidate:

✨ 2+ Years of experience working in Finance Transformation.
✨ 2+ Years of experience working in Process Automation.
✨ 2+ Years of experience working in fintech or payments operations.
✨ 2+ Years of experience working in financial systems.
✨ Hands-on experience building and implementing in Simetrik.
✨ Advanced Excel proficiency.
✨ Experience with SQL and Python.
✨ Experience with automation tools or RPA is a plus.
✨ Experience integrating data via APIs, SFTP, CSV/JSON.
✨ Advanced English or Fluent Spanish is required. We need your great communication skills to support our clients and collaborate with international teams.
