About the Role

As a Senior UX Engineer, you will be expected to help grow an amazing user experience across our products. We are looking for an innovative, curious, and collaborative engineer who is passionate about bringing delightful, captivating experiences throughout our cutting-edge technology. Your passion and skills will help us develop, define, measure, and track the user experience across all of Figure.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure our products are not only visually appealing but also highly functional and user-friendly
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers across multiple teams
  • Utilize research and conduct research to improve the user experience
  • Drive and implement A/B testing strategies and data-driven decisions
  • Advocate for a user-centric mindset across the organization
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate Design’s ideas to gather feedback from stakeholders and customers
  • Help implement and maintain UI components and design systems
  • Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews to uphold quality standards
  • Learn from and share knowledge with engineers, product managers, and designers
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in UX design, fintech, and front-end development

What We Look For

  • Passion for user-centric experiences and engineering
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools
  • Proficiency with behavior and analytic tooling
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks
  • Experience with A/B testing
  • Proficiency in design systems and component libraries
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable with agile, iterative software development

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience in fintech
  • Optimizely, Fullstory, Google Analytics and/or proficiency running A/B tests at scale
  • Figma proficiency
  • Typescript, React, Tailwind, CSS knowledge

Salary

  • Compensation Range: $119,680 - $149,600
  • Quarterly 25% bonus target
  • Equity stock options package
  • This is the compensation range for the United States, actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience, location, or evolving business needs
